Income tax return filing deadline extended to August 5 2016

In view of the consistent holidays for banks, the income tax filing deadline has been extended till August 5 2016.
The only exception for this deadline is Jammu and Kashmir where the deadline is extended till August 31 2016 because of the political turmoil.
