The Beautiful Mind and the Ironic Words

"Exactly how are we supposed to keep the world safe for democracy if we're stewing to death"
The words are from the film "The Beautiful Mind" based on the life of Nobel winning economist John Nash.
These words though very ironic, in the film it is referred to the non working air conditioners.
But the words weigh very much when we change the sphere of viewing it. Consider the great measures by the governments especially in developing countries like India and the initiatives they take to eradicate poverty. Poverty here refers to the heat faced by poor people and the policies are unfortunately the non working air conditioners. The solution for this problem is the policy makers should be able to concentrate more on the working solutions rather than implementing non working air conditioning like mega projects to alleviate poverty.
