The following message about "Dutch Reach" was received as a Whatsapp message. I think it is quite practical and life saving to include this habit while opening the car doors. I hope it helps you folks.
Many car drivers do not check the surrounding while opening the door of the vehicle. Seeing if something is coming from the behind before opening the door is crucial. One way to make sure that you always do that is to adopt and practice the technique called “Dutch Reach”.
Now, what exactly is ‘Dutch Reach’, and how does it save lives?
The Dutch Reach is a safety habit that is taught in the driving schools in Netherlands. The method states that you should always reach for the door handle with the farthest hand while getting out of the car. For example, if you’re sitting on the driver seat and want to get out, use your left hand to pull the door handle instead of right.
Using this technique will automatically ensure that head turns towards the door, with your eyes glancing for moving obstacles coming from behind. This way, you’ll be able to spot if some other vehicle or pedestrian is approaching from the rear. Following this method and making this a habit can save a lot of accidents that are caused due to carelessness.

3 ways to help yourself if you are feeling low
1.Get down to basics
The moment you are feeling low, just get back to the basics. Most of us go wrong on simple basic things in life. We all tend to think the opposite of right is wrong in life and end up being miserable. Get back to the basics and you will realize that the opposite can also be left.
2.Refining thoughts
The most important aspect to look out during such times is the thoughts. Thoughts of today are to be carefully nurtured because they are going to decide what we will be doing in the future.
Thoughts : 3C
Now that you are pretty much aware of the basic wrongdoings and have refined your thoughts, go for acting on them. Take time, but never lose the direction and be a bit adamant on reaching the set targets. Relax, take a few deep breaths and you will finally realize that these 3 steps can assist you in improving your feeling.

- Clear : Clarity of thoughts be simple and clear
- Concise : Avoid having a junk of thought process pulling you all over; rather have a precise one that has a direction
- Constructive : Let the positive thoughts weed out the negative ones

The de Gaulle and Gayle effect
de Gaulle mindset
"When communicating, what really counts is the mindset of communicators, the power and resources stand next"
Charles de Gaulle, an isolated general with very few following proved this effect. On the negotiation table with Winston Churchill, he was ridiculed for his loss of followers and legitimacy. But de Gaulle resisted such downgrading by arguing that if he was nothing, then Winston Churchill wouldn't be speaking to him.
Gayle effect
The recent outbursts by Gayle suggests that he has taken power, resources and communication to the opposition turf while dealing with them.
de Gaulle vs Gayle approach
The success of interview is enhanced if we have de Gaulle approach. This view has been endorsed since ancient times. But for long time approach Gayle's approach may be more apt.

Suryanamaskara : the best thing to do at Sunrise

Surya Namaskara (IAST: Sūrya namaskāra) or Sun Salutation (lit. "salute to the sun"), is a common sequence of Hatha yoga asanas. Its origins lie in a worship of Surya, the Hindu solar deity. This sequence of movements and poses can be practised on varying levels of awareness, ranging from that of physical exercise in various styles, to a complete sadhana which incorporates asana, pranayama, mantra and chakra meditation.
The physical base of the practice links together twelve asanas in a dynamically performed series. These asanas are ordered so that they alternately stretch the spine backwards and forwards. When performed in the usual way, each asana is moved into with alternate inhalation and exhalation (except for the sixth asana where the breath is held in external suspension). A full round of Surya namaskara is considered to be two sets of the twelve poses with a change in the second set to moving the opposite leg first through the series.
Proponents of the use of Surya namaskara as part of the modern yoga tradition prefer to perform it at sunrise, which the orthodox consider to be the most 'spiritually favourable' time of the day.
