Steve Jobs : What way he was creative ?

Warren G Bernis once told
"There are two ways of being creative. One can sing and dance. Or one can create an environment in which singers and dancers flourish"
So wonder what way Steve Jobs was creative. He built the platform for iTunes from which billions of music was downloaded. He built a platform for developers who built the largest ecosystem of applications around the iOS. He just provided the platform and we can see the creativity still alive in the applications that are coming out.
