Macbook Air 13"
The lighter of the two costs 500$ less when compared to the new 13 inch pro with retinal display. This is almost a pound lighter and ensures that it is more portable of the two.
New Macbook Pro 13” retinal display
The one with the retinal display costs 500$ more. But being a little on the heavier side, the portability can be an issue. But still the 500$ may be worth the buy if you really appreciate the retinal display. And also it boosts of faster processor and higher memory whereas the storage remains the same for both.
The verdict
If you are looking for a notebook which you want to be with you always and never mind the absence of retinal display, then Air is the one you must be choosing.
If you want the experience of retinal display, faster and better processor and memory, then the new 13" is worth the cash.
