Mukesh Ambani has become the world's richest man on October 30 2007 and the courtesy the Sensex kissing the 20k landmark. It was unbelievable as I read the article in one of the corners of the front page of leading National newspaper. Its really amazing that an Indian is leading the race.
This achievement signifies the importance that there is lots of opportunity in India as it crowns the title of one of the fastest growing economies in the world. The foreign investments are pouring in and the standards of living is increasing and finally India is Shining!!!
The assets of Ambani are valued at $63.2 billion (2.49 lakh crores) as against Slim at $63.299 billion and Bill Gates at $63.290.
But he may not be able to retain the position for a long time as a small trader in the Dalal street gives a comment that it is over valued than it(sensex) is at the present situation.
