IPL's gift

The much hyped IPL debut season is over and it has been a massive hit with TRP values touching the sky highs towards the end of the tournament. Critics argue that the cricket is turned into business and cooked for the needs of the viewers rather than for the soul of cricket. But it has done some goodies for the Indian ODI team. The match against Pakistan is a good proof of this, the way the opening partnership went on shows the carry over of the IPL confidence into the ODI's. So its not a bad idea to expect more exciting cricket from the stars of the IPL.
