IMG the sport event management body is being dumped by BCCI.
Though the agreement between them at the beginning of the IPL is for 10 seasons; BCCI has divided to go away from IMG for unknown reasons.
The franchisers are definitely unhappy as the decision was taken without even consultation.
IMG may be preparing by now to approach court against IPL managing committee by now.
Will dumping global players of event management goes well with the reputation of the IPL in the long run ? Is the internal political squabble has resulted in the scrapping of the deal ?
