Indian born Mahima Khan has won the prestigious Stevenson prize of Cambridge University for academic excellence. She is the third person from India to get this honour. Incidentally, all the three persons are from Kolkata. Professor Amaratya Sen was the first Indian to win this award in 1956 and Sir Partha Dasgupta won it in 1967.
