Bandra Worli Sea link :A Weak link

It was supposed to be a Rs 300-crore project completed in 2004 but it a Rs 1,600 crore project now as it has been completed five years late. But there is a lot of doubts about the advantages on reduction of traffic it is going to afford. There was a immense jubilation over the opening ceremony and even the political parties were ready to take credit for the link. But the delay has taken out all the advantages. We should have been building many marvels by now but we are going at snails speed and the parties have to be credited for this also. This denotes how pathetic our infrastructure sector is moving and no matter how much investments flow it into it, there is no way ahead if we are not improving our delivery systems.
