Austerity isnt the need of the hour ......

The central government now is too much frenzy about the austerity drive kicked off by the Finance Minister. While this was provoked by the front page report on one of the national news papers, there was no need to exaggerate the issue to this level. Do we need to save those few crores for insulating our farmers from draught? There is already enough money being released in the name of draught; the need of the hour is to streamline it and increase the reach of the releaf measures. The austerity show off is just to take off the real issue away from the common man and just a drama to show that government is with them. Why a finance misnister of a fastest developing economy is dealing with such austerity drives to decrease the government expenditure and looks at it as a way to increase revenues? Is it becuase he is a man from Bengal from where he has inherited a bit of Communist red tinge into his thinking? Why there are no concrete measures to stop huge corruptions in almost every sectors which the government is undertaking and why there is no efforts to act on the black money stashed abroad? Many questions need to be answered but unfortunately they remain as questions forever......
