Apple 4G antenna problem; 4S battery drain ?

Several people has been reporting that the new Apple 4S has been dragging there battery a bit more than they expected. The 4G had also received complaints in the beginning about the antenna and the network drop problems. But still Apple had overcome that problem and the Apple 4G became the largest selling smartphone. This time around the company has already stepped in task by installing battery usage tracking software in the complainants device. It is to be tested whether it is due to the slew of notifications and GPS activated notifications that might have been the culprit as the new notification system has been introduced in the Apple 4S now.
