Electronic Control Unit

In automotive electronics, electronic control unit (ECU) is a generic term for any embedded system that controls one or more of the electrical systems or subsystems in a motor car.
These embedded systems are used to control various components of the car. Like the engine will have an unique embedded system as compared to the gear system. Overall the car will be having a multiple embedded systems that is multiple tiny computers which coordinates efficiently to give a smooth and safe journey.
